My device transmits via the (emergency) antenna on the stern basket and is also installed in the rear cabin. The multiplexer with one input and one output each for NMEA 0183 and 2000 comes in handy when you need one. The device can send message 27 to satellites, which could be interesting for Atlantic sailors. To configure it you need WIN10 or higher and the included USB cable. Unfortunately you cannot configure the transponder via an Android app and WiFi.
