Hi Jens, a sprayhood is worth its weight in gold and in my opinion more important than a bimini. Fortunately, ours was already on when we bought the boat 17 years ago. Including the cake stand. It was particularly great when the children were still small and it gave us more space. It's probably very difficult to find something suitable second-hand. We are located in the SHS in Konstanz-Staad. Right next to the KN-Meersburg ferry. Maybe you'll run into each other sometime. We also like to visit ÜB-Ost here and there. Good luck with the teak! Hi Jens, I also dream of a bimini. The big drawback of the 31 is the mainsheet point on the steering column. OK for sailing - extremely annoying for a bimini. I'm thinking about moving the sheet lead in front of the companionway. Like most others have. Then there would be room for a proper bimini. What do you think of this idea? I have converted to 20384 and now I have superfluous holes in the foot rail. You can save yourself that step

What kind of railing feet do you have? Welded stainless steel or cast aluminum? I originally had the welded stainless steel ones. They never held up well on my boat. As a first step I screwed them to the foot railing (slight improvement) and finally I replaced them with the cast aluminum feet (ordered here from SVB). It's been quiet ever since.
