Because the two tubes are only produced as a "complete open-and-throw-the-rest" solution. Who does that??? I wanted to close a small gap in a frame and then throw away 9 out of 1010ths of the product!!! Seriously, people – that's just ridiculous! I'm giving it two stars because I put the product away for this reason and chose a more sensible alternative. So, WARNING – if you buy this, make sure you'll use the entire amount!!! You can mix it in smaller batches, but at the end of the "session," you just have to throw away whatever's left over!

It fulfills its purpose very well and, with the stainless steel M-anchor, presents a good appearance.

Highly recommended, excellent grip on both soft and hard ground. We used them on the lake in very gusty winds – they were rock solid – neighboring boats drifted away...

The price was the main reason for looking for alternatives. Eberspächer and Webasto have their parts manufactured in China. The parts are available (identical) without a label – and without CE – even directly in China for even less money. No CE means no insurance (if something happens), so that's not a solution. "E" and "W" claim that other electronics are installed in "their" heaters... yes, yes, yes... Conclusion: Much quieter than my old Eberspächer D1LC, with two additional silencers (available here: https://www.svb.dedeautoterm-warmluftschalldaempfer-60mm-fuer-luftheizungen-autotherm-2d-planar-2d.html), only a fan noise remains. In terms of heat output, this heater is probably somewhat lower than my previous one – that shouldn't be considered a "negative point," as I don't think you can compare them directly – otherwise, both would have to have exactly the same specifications. All in all – highly recommended.
