The engine starts reluctantly
My 3GM30F had some starting problems. It took about 3-4 seconds to start the engine and than a black cloud of smoke from the exhaust after she finally decided to cooperate. Found the problem: a tiny air leak at the outlet of the small fuel filter mounted to the engine. I tightened the screw and now she starts again immediately and runs like a well oiled sewing machine.
