On my Dufour 41 Classic with an MD22LB engine, my engine has 7,500 hours on it. While cruising, it runs between 1,500 and 1,800 rpm, with an average fuel consumption of less than 2 liters per hour.
Oil consumption is 1/4 liter between oil changes, which are performed regularly every 200 hours using 15/40 mineral oil. It emits a slight blue smoke. I occasionally rev it up to clear out the carbon deposits.
