In my Classic 38, the system provides a tank in the port locker with sea discharge aft on the left and the possibility of discharge by suction also aft on the left side of the deck. Overboard discharge is via a hand pump located in the port locker. A pipe running between the hull and the counter mold connects the toilet to the tank. I bought the boat second hand 5 years ago; the old owner told me it was like this when he bought it new. However, he never completed the connection of the various pipes to put the system into operation, and I don't plan to do so either because I don't think this system will work well: the toilet and tank are too far apart, connected by a long pipe that, in my opinion, could easily clog or cause bad odors in the port aft cabin. In addition, given the length of the pipe, the amount of water needed to pass the material through to the tank would be such that it would fill up very quickly ( I believe the volume of the tank does not exceed 40 liters)
