Hi Philippe,
Thank you very much for your comments. I can tell when the engine is overheating by the thermometer—when it rises from 90° to 96° or higher. If I don’t throttle back, the audible alarm sounds.
I can’t tell if enough water is flowing out of the exhaust.

Overheating D2-75
Good morning, fellow owners,
We have two engines, and both have the problem of overheating at 2500 RPM and above. Impeller OK, coolant OK, seawater filter OK. We operate in freshwater.
Are there any others with this problem? Has anyone ever flushed or removed the heat exchanger?
