The railing supports are bolted from below. In my case, the washers were rusted through, allowing water to penetrate. The support screw connection is located behind plastic covers in the ceiling of the boat. If it is not the prop, it can also be caused by the connection between the upper and lower shell of the hull. The connection is underneath the surrounding wooden strip behind the supports. In my case, the sealant was virtually non-existent.
