Heavy-duty circuit breakers 300A
The 300A version is unfortunately not convincing in practice (motorhome). The voltage drop across the circuit breaker is very high. At a power output of 1800W and a current of approximately 150A, the Victron inverter (Multiplus 2 3000) immediately shuts down due to insufficient battery voltage. I replaced the circuit breaker with a solid aluminum connector, and 2300W and 180A were no problem. The cause is likely the small contact area, no larger than an M8 spring washer. Cable length under 2m, 70 mm². This is the first SVB product that hasn't lived up to expectations; it happens. The product is being returned.
