Hello,
You should check the thermostat; it might need to be replaced.
A few years ago, my MD2030 was having trouble starting, so we replaced the glow plugs and checked quite a few parts. Nothing worked until a young mechanic pointed out the problem with the relay that controls the engine. We replaced that part—which was about the size of a small cube—and it’s been running perfectly ever since.
In short, check the thermostat and the relay.
