This was my second purchase. Two years ago, I resealed the windows on the other side of the boat, so I knew what to expect. I recommend ordering the primer as well. Also, the nozzle should be cut open very generously to ensure the adhesive can be applied quickly and thickly. SVB isn't responsible for the one-star deduction; it's due to the very fragile cartridge casing. This casing is quite delicate and dents easily, making it very difficult to apply with the gun.

I bought four of them. Thanks to the included instructions, all were easy to inflate (using an air gun connected to a compressor). The eyes also seem sturdy enough to withstand a fairly strong pull. The missing star is due to the rather stiff material; I had hoped for a bit more flexibility to distribute the force over a larger area when fendering. But the low price has to come from somewhere. Nevertheless, I'm considering buying two more.

The ideal kit to avoid buying a new seawater pump. It contains all the parts that should be replaced, both necessarily and preventively, to ensure trouble-free operation for decades to come; because in addition to the seal itself, the shaft is often worn as well. It would be the icing on the cake if the kit also included an exploded view showing the correct order and orientation of the components. I highly recommend this kit and am glad to have found it here.
