Mine is also from 2009 and looks like new, but I sail on the IJsselmeer. And that is fresh water. And with 1700 hours in 26 years, that wasn't a lot of vibrations. On youtub I have seen seals that were 28 years old and looked like new. With the 7 years you can not accuse Volvo.
