In 2010, Volvo Penta changed its recommendation only for saildrives equipped with clutch plates. This applies only to models 130 and 150, for which the recommendation has changed from ATF oil to the same oil as the 15W40 engine. See this Volvo Penta service bulletin: http://www.varen4u.nl/pdfs/SailDrive/Volvo-S-Drive-Bulletin-20101.pdf With an MD2030, it may be a 120S saildrive. If this is the case, there has been no change in recommendations. You must follow the instructions in your manual and the label that must be affixed to the saildrive.
