Zinc-coated steel does NOT comply with standards (DIN EN ISO 10239) for use on boats.
...because zinc-plated steel is not considered sufficiently corrosion-resistant. Neither are gas hoses with galvanized sleeves (which is why marine versions have stainless steel sleeves). All gas-related components for boats must be made of brass or stainless steel. These pipe clamps are also available in stainless steel.
