Easy to use, even in the dark
I use the Pilot controller with a Simrad plotter, and it works perfectly. The controller is very easy to use, even in the dark. It's also very practical for single-handed sailors—a few button presses, and you can take care of the lines.

Not suitable for high currents
I had installed this battery switch as a main switch with a 200A fuse. The fuse didn't blow, and the battery switch burned out.

Active radar reflectors are, or rather were, a great idea. Nowadays, only broadband radar systems are installed on pleasure boats. The transmission power of the broadband systems is so low that active radar reflectors are not triggered. This means that you will only be detected by commercial shipping.
