Hi Markus, I’ve already done quite a bit of work on the boat myself, since I’m pretty handy. I do all the work on the boat myself, though I sometimes have a trusted professional assist me when necessary. For engine maintenance, I have a mechanic from the shipyard at my marina who runs the workshop. He’s since become a friend. I’ve also considered upgrading to LiFePO4… but decided against it since I’ve installed 400 WP of solar panels. My 540 AH batteries last me several days. But unfortunately, the limited lifespan is just the problem with lead-acid batteries.... I’m in Croatia with my Astondoa. Where are you?

Hi Markus, It's great to hear that you also own such a beautiful boat. How satisfied are you with the Astondoa 46? Have you had it for a while? I've been sailing mine since 2020, and I have to say I'm very satisfied—it's very sporty yet still offers plenty of comfort. Best regards, Fritz
