The item finally arrived six weeks late, due to delivery delays from the manufacturer. While I was informed of this, my inquiries were conveniently ignored. I was all the more surprised to find that the transceiver's packaging was completely torn open along one edge and showed clear signs of wear, while the outer packaging from the parcel service was undamaged. How does that add up? There was no explanation for this either. I wouldn't have complained about this with a refurbished item, but with an item that was supposedly brand new, directly from the manufacturer, and immediately shipped? I can't imagine that Weatherdock would ship new, next-generation devices in used boxes. I can't see any clear signs of wear on the transceiver itself. Installation and functional testing are still pending.

€36 isn't much for an LED ceiling light (and it's the cheapest of its kind at SVB), but it's still money. For that price, I would have expected more: - The four LEDs aren't centered in their designated recesses (which will hardly affect practical use, but it doesn't speak to careful workmanship). - The very short connection cable (approx. 0.5 m) is untinned and therefore unsuitable for outdoor installation. Where is a ceiling light usually installed anyway...? Skimping on that is embarrassing; I would gladly have spent the extra €2 for a proper cable.

It makes a solid and well-made impression.
