The included link to the YouTube tutorial is great. Attaching the light was a bit fiddly, but you learn how to fold the vest (at least on one side) right away. The concept of a separate light makes sense to me, but it still remains somewhat unusual in its application. I'll see how I feel about the power supply hanging freely when the vest is deployed in the upcoming safety training. I don't think it will matter to me in an emergency – the main thing is that the light works.

I ordered the 220 together with the 275 because its buoyancy would be sufficient for 90% of my missions. But for me, as a 2-meter-tall man, the 275 simply fits better. My wife was so impressed with the 220 that she kept it for herself.

I tried on a lot of life jackets on the boat and found the Secumar Survivals, with their adjustable back, to be the most comfortable for me as a 2-meter-tall man. Since I mostly sail close to the coast, I considered whether the 220 would be sufficient and ordered it as well. In the end, however, I decided that the 275 fit better because it's a bit longer. My wife was so impressed with the 220 that she kept it for herself.

I travel on various yachts, and there aren't always enough eyelets to clip into. The large snap hooks on this lifeline are ideal for easily clipping onto handles and profile tubes. Regarding the snap shackle, I'm still a bit undecided as to whether it's more of a risk or a safety benefit. It's not that easy to open anyway, so I'm fine with it as it is.
