I installed the fan on the forward cabin hatch. The problem is that the large gasket supplied is to tin and you can't compress it when you screw the fan down. I remove the large gasket completely and the water is not entering the boat, which is good. A thicker (double thickness) gasket would be much better. Also, the supplied battery is weak, the fan is working only when the sun is shining, it stops during night and on cloudy days. I expected it to work day and night. The air it moves when it runs is not much, hardly you can notice any air movement. I expected more from the fan.
