With the Volvo D1-20 through D2-50 engines, it is possible to install a bypass using a power-on switch without going through the EVC control panel. In an emergency, the engine will start. The compatible seawater pump sold by SVB is not plug-and-play; you’ll need to remove the gear from your original pump. I configure the MFD chartplotters to display engine hours, oil temperature, engine RPM, and alarms. A simple moped carburetor cone used as an air filter is more than sufficient instead of the expensive air filter €€€ ... Voilier-oceane.com Benjamin
