Hello, based on incorrect information from my dealer, I ordered the staysail rigging option. Upon delivery, I discovered that the tack is positioned 20 cm from the forestay tack, and I consider this location unusable. I’m looking for a way to attach the tack near the sail locker panel, on the mast side. Unfortunately, the bulkhead between the forward cabin and the sail locker is only a few centimeters from the panel, leaving too little room for a standard cleat or equivalent. This location above the bulkhead would allow the forces from the cleat—and thus from the staysail forestay—to be transferred to the bulkhead, or even to the floor of the sail locker via a tie-down. Before I tackle the choice of sail, I first need to figure out how to attach it to the deck.
