I only have one guess. It could be teak veneer. There is a different material under the 1st layer. The flap looks like new! You seem to have Flexiteak on the benches.

Here is a photo, unfortunately not the whole thing. There is a hole in the side in front of the door so that you can lift the grating out with one finger. To do this, it has to be moved slightly in the direction of the toilet.

We have a grating for our Bavaria. Hair and dirt do fall through, but everything can be cleaned easily after a cruise. We stick a kind of plastic strainer on the shower drain.

Does anyone of you happen to have a drawing or photo of the diesel tank of the Bavaria 34 Cruiser built in 2018? ( double steering system , 2-cabin ship, installed in the aft cabin )
