I purchased this sail cover just three weeks ago, and had it installed only a week back. To my disappointment, the metal through-hull rings (eyelets) are already rusting heavilysome are beyond recognition. Given that this product is meant for marine use, I expected at least basic corrosion resistance. This kind of rapid deterioration suggests that the metal components used are of poor quality and not suitable for the harsh conditions of saltwater sailing. At the very least, this sail cover should be manufactured with stainless steel through-hulls to withstand marine environments. Right now, Im left with rust-stained fabric and compromised durability, just days into use. Definitely not what I expected from a product marketed for boats.
