RONSTAN, the people behind this company are the two Australians Ron Allatt and Stan Lenepveu, who opened a shipyard for wooden boats in 1953. After successful years of expansion, the core business focused on the production of deck fittings of all kinds. In 1963, the first marine equipment catalog was published, RONSTAN listed 50 products. Business was booming, resulting in RONSTAN opening up new export markets. A milestone in the development of modern deck fittings are the RONSTAN Orbit Blocks (available in the SVB online shop). Today, the company is one of the world's leading hardware manufacturers. In addition to the headquarters near Melbourne, they have offices in the US (Portsmouth) and Denmark (Vejle).
