Competent advice from SVB! A consultant from a specialist store on Lake Constance explained to me that the defective paddle wheel was not interchangeable, that the entire encoder should be exchanged for € 400.

Good spare part

While packing it up for winter storage, the paddlewheel broke. Fortunately, the transducer remained undamaged. The paddlewheel fits perfectly, and the sealing rings are included, which is great; this way, the transducer can be made ready for the new season. Oh yes, the most important thing: the log is showing again.
