The cooling water flow detector AQUALARM is unique and was developed specifically for the requirements in the maritime sector. It is even patented. It controls an audible and / or visual alarm emitter (optional). So any interruption of the cooling water influx is displayed (eg when a filter / water cock is clogged or when an impeller is defective, etc.).
The AQUALARM is installed between the seawater strainer and the impeller in the seawater circulation and not only protects single-circuit-cooled motors from overheating, but also prevents existing dual-circuit cooling seawater pumps and exhaust system from getting damaged.
New: With paddle detector for an even more reliability. Improvement of the switching contact's maximum load to max. 3 amps (@12 volts) instead of 0.5 A of the previous models.
The AQUALARM is available in three versions for different flow rates available and it is thus suitable for every inboard engine, auxiliary engine or other pumps.
Select the appropriate option for your application.
Note: A subsequent individual adjustment to the cooling water flow is not possible.
