The fan itself gets 5 stars from me. It is significantly quieter than the old attwood, which was at least 20 years old. And if it was supposed to last half as long, it was still a good buy.

It would be nice if it were mentioned that the product was not shipped in the original packaging but came from a bulk pack. I don't have an issue with that, but at first I thought it was B-stock.
Furthermore, it would be useful if installation instructions were included and it was pointed out that the hose clamps must be ordered separately (both are included in the individual box). There are also no instructions for download (at least not at the time of ordering)

We have a sailboat of 15 meters of regatta, with the engine almost 6 meters from the Popa. It is able to extract the gases from the engine compartment and evacuate them with almost 7 meters of pipe, without problem. Only small paste, we had to mount two silentblocks, to avoid vibration in the bulkhead in which it has been mounted, how powerful it is.
