Can I use this for blackwater?
Hi André, generally yes, but black water always polludes the valve, and causes jams and backflow. If you need diameter 1-1/2" you should better take the Jabsco 58109-1000; SVB item# 24995. It is a special design for black water which does not catch so much solids which can come with the black water. But we have here the same limitation as with the toilets, not to use anti-freeses, toilet cleaners, detergents and any product made of plant.- or mineral oils. That deforms the rubber parts. with kind regards Andreas
