The cooling box is equipped with two cables (220V & 12V cigarette lighter plug). Under 220V it works as a compressor cooler with the typical, quiet noise, very good cooling performance up to the frost range. Under 12V, it works almost silently with Peltier elements and also cools well. The box is quite large, but can be transported well with the two integrated carrying handles.

Two cooling systems in one box – in addition to a powerful compressor, the cooler B40 HYBRID has a thermoelectric generator "on board". The compressor module of the B40 offers normal and deep-freezing of +12°C to -15°C, regardless of high ambient temperatures. The thermoelectric technology is able to bring temperatures down to 20°C below ambient temperature. Thanks to a rubber seal and magnetic lock, the lid closes perfectly.

excellent solution for a second fridge
great. I installed it on an unused berth, in addition to the refrigerator of the kitchen counter, to 220 V it works very well, even too much, if you set it at the maximum becomes a freezer, when you open it, for its shape in the cockpit, does not disperse no heat, I had a portable fridge that I used with ice and I replaced it with this. dual-function 12 V fridge is not very useful because Peltier-effect refrigerators consume a lot, however it is a spare possibility to break the main fridge A 220 V unlike most portable refrigerators works with a real compressor and arrives at freezer temperatures. I need it, placed on an unused bunk, to have another fridge when I'm at the dock and in any case replaces the current icebox.

Do you have a Manual for this product so I can see the energy consumption? This product is to be intslled on a boat and energy consumption is a major issue. The interior dimensions are suitable for 1,5L bottles?

Dear Pedro, the power Input is: 12V = 47 W / 230V = 65 W. Fixed bottles are only possible with 1liter. Your SVB-team.
