The BAUDAT SCS13 rigging cutter has been specially developed for fast and safe use on board, allowing wire ropes and shrouds to be cut with minimal effort, even under demanding conditions. The ratchet-assisted wire rope cutter provides comfortable one-handed operation, making it ideal for emergencies, maintenance work and quick repairs to the rigging.

The forged, double-hardened and PTFE-coated blades are manufactured from high-quality steel, delivering outstanding cutting performance and a long service life. Ergonomically shaped handles support fatigue-free working and ensure safe handling even under heavy loads. The blades can be released from any cutting position, allowing the rigging cutter to remain fully controllable at all times.

Excellent cutter for rigging wire
I think this tool should be on all boats going offshore. I have personally tried this cutter on wires up to 10 mm. It is like putting the knife in the butter on a hot summer day.
