The new high-end electric bike BLIZZARD by SEATEC offers the latest 36 V technology with intuitive throttle control. Equipped with a 36 V / 8.7 Ah lithium-Ion battery, it offers a 30% larger battery capacity than conventional 24 V systems.

Be it for getting to work, to climb mountains, to ride over the dikes against the wind or just a bike ride on the weekend, our SEATEC electric folding bike BLIZZARD is your ideal companion. The SEATEC electric folding bike impresses with its ease of use, compact design and unique high performance. Even with health impairments you no longer need to give up your mobility.

The SEATEC electric bike BLIZZARD, also called pedelec (Pedal Electric Cycle) uses its intelligent electric motor to add power to the pedaling force. Without pedaling the motor will not use any power. In most European countries a pedelec is considered a bicycle and does therefore neither need a license nor a certificate. There should be no insurance required either (please check legal status for your country). Helmets are not required either, but are a good idea for your safety as when riding a normal bike.

The new high-end electric bike BLIZZARD, designed by SEATEC! It uses the latest 36V technology with intuitive twist throttle control. Equipped with variable assist modes which are continuously adjustable from 0% -100%. Good speeds of up to 25 km/h are easily reached without any effort - free of any license or insurance.

The powerful 36 V / 8.7 Ah lithium-ion battery equipped with high quality SANYO / Panasonic cells has a battery capacity of 313 Wh and a life expectancy of about 500-700 charge cycles. With a single charge, you can ride for up to 50km depending on slope gradient and wind conditions.

Thanks to the 250 W / 36 V hub motor you can reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Compared to conventional 24 V systems with a 10A battery (Wh = 240) the SEATEC folding pedelec has a battery capacity which is around 30% greater. For best charging results and battery protection the bike is equipped with an intelligent BMS (Battery Management System) which is integrated into the battery pack integrated. The removable battery is equipped with an anti-theft protection, on-off switch and battery charge indicator. A suitable charger comes in the box.

The lightweight aluminum frame allows for the bike to be easily loaded on-board, in the car or in the caravan. For the best possible driving comfort we equipped the bike with an adjustable, hydraulic front fork which lets you have an upright seating position and reduces vibrations to the handlebars.

Please note: You will receive the bike in a pre-mounted state. Please make sure to control the tight fit of all screws, nuts etc. If necessary, please tighten them. The brakes and all accesories attached to the bike also ought to be controlled: Function and correct fit need to be assured in order to have you ride safely. Prior to the first use of the E-Bike its lithium battery needs to be fully charged.

The distances between rear wheel and wheel cover should be optimized. In addition, the chain length should be extended by about 1cm to achieve a better seating position of the rear wheel. The rear wheel is in my opinion too far forward.

The specified range of the Akus proves to be a little too high or we use the support too far and do not bring enough Eigenleistung.rnMinus points are that some screws on the pedals and other fasteners after a short time rust showing where the bikes only a little rain and had not been exposed to seawater

Our answer

Aus Gründen der Festigkeit sind im Bereich des Trettlagers, Achsen und Pedalen einige Schrauben nicht aus Edelstahl. Hier ist etwas Pflege notwendig und wir empfehlen z.B. WD40 Spray (auch sehr gut für die Kette).
Sollte das Rad mal eine \"Salzwasserdusche\" abbekommen, unbedingt bei nächster Gelegenheit mit Süsswasser spülen.
Das hält kein Rad lange aus!
