I had already tested the wheel at the BOOT in Düsseldorf and ordered for my wife and me. After 2 months of delivery (but was announced) the wheels arrived yesterday. I can only say - the wait was worth it! The wheels were pre-assembled: screws checked, batteries charged, air pumped on the tires and the tour started. I went with my wife about 25km on the road and the batteries showed no weakness. On the battery display were still all 3 LEDs. Also my initial concerns that the wheels are too small are completely disguised. I am 1.92m tall, weighs 103kg and the adjustment possibilities of the saddle and the handlebar drive the wheels like normal touring bikes. At the weekend we are with our mobile on the road and we will then again extensively test. Unfortunately the pack bags are not yet delivered.

The SEATEC electric folding bike impresses with its ease of use, compact design and unique high performance. Even with health impairments you no longer need to give up your mobility.

The SEATEC electric bike BLIZZARD, also called pedelec (Pedal Electric Cycle) uses its intelligent electric motor to add power to the pedaling force. Without pedaling the motor will not use any power. In most European countries a pedelec is considered a bicycle and does therefore neither need a license nor a certificate. There should be no insurance required either (please check legal status for your country). Helmets are not required either, but are a good idea for your safety as when riding a normal bike.

The new high-end electric bike BLIZZARD, designed by SEATEC! It uses the latest 36V technology with intuitive twist throttle control. Equipped with variable assist modes which are continuously adjustable from 0% -100%. Good speeds of up to 25 km/h are easily reached without any effort - free of any license or insurance.

The powerful 36 V / 8.7 Ah lithium-ion battery equipped with high quality SANYO / Panasonic cells has a battery capacity of 313 Wh and a life expectancy of about 500-700 charge cycles. With a single charge, you can ride for up to 50km depending on slope gradient and wind conditions.

Thanks to the 250 W / 36 V hub motor you can reach a maximum speed of 25 km/h. Compared to conventional 24 V systems with a 10A battery (Wh = 240) the SEATEC folding pedelec has a battery capacity which is around 30% greater. For best charging results and battery protection the bike is equipped with an intelligent BMS (Battery Management System) which is integrated into the battery pack integrated. The removable battery is equipped with an anti-theft protection, on-off switch and battery charge indicator. A suitable charger comes in the box.

The lightweight aluminum frame allows for the bike to be easily loaded on-board, in the car or in the caravan. For the best possible driving comfort we equipped the bike with an adjustable, hydraulic front fork which lets you have an upright seating position and reduces vibrations to the handlebars.

Shift lever on left side is \"upside down\". Seems to be poor design, although it works ok. On one of the two bikes we ordered, the hole in the frame that the seat tube goes in is not perfectly round. It is an absolute battle to move the seat up and down. Battery, Charger and Pedal instructions are in multiple languages, including English. Overall instructions for the bike (i.e. the most important booklet) is in German only. Headlight falls off easily on one of the bikes.

Electrics not rainproof!

Until this morning I was very satisfied with the product. Last night came a stormy front with a stormy wind over the marina. In the morning there was a rusty puddle under the bike. The rusty water came from the Akkukasten. The (expensive) battery was totally in the bucket, everywhere dripping rust. The contacts were totally corroded. So dispose of (!!!). The battery must also be replaced. Absolutely annoying. How can you call a bicycle, which is not even rain water, "SEATEC"?

gerne würden wir ein paar Bilder von dem Batteriekasten und dem Akku sehen. Es scheint uns sehr unwahrscheinlich das die Anschlüsse der Batterie durch einen einmaligen Regenguss verrostet sind.
