In 1902, Cassens & Plath was founded by Captain Tanne Jannssen Cassens in Bremen. In 1972, the site was opened in Bremerhaven, where today more than 30 employees work. All nautical precision instruments are made here in Germany by hand, adjusted and constantly tested. The company Zöllner took over Cassens & Plath's manufacturing site in 2014.
