Outboard or sterndrive boats often have poor steering performance at low speeds. The driving force is not sufficient to keep the boat on course, it needs to be constantly corrected. The Course-Keeper Double Rudder eliminates the need for constant correction, your boat is on course and is significantly easier to steer and park. At higher speeds, the Course Keeper is lifted from the water stream, thus overriding is avoided. When reversing, the Course Keeper protects the propeller while providing accident protection for swimmers. At SVB you will receive the practical double rudder from the Netherlands in several sizes that match your boat. A special version is available for use on Volvo Penta sterndrives (series 280/290).
