Founded in 2019, LIONTRON is a German company specialising in high-quality energy storage solutions, in particular the development and production of lithium iron phosphate batteries (LiFePO4). The company operates independently and is part of the Bosswerk Group. With an extensive distribution network of over 1,200 partners in more than 20 countries, the company offers reliable and high-performance batteries for motorhomes, home storage systems and maritime applications.

High-quality battery systems especially for boats and yachts

The new LIONTRON products are IP67-certified and perfectly suited for use on boats and yachts. They consist of robust lithium iron phosphate cells (LiFePO4) in a dust and waterproof housing that can withstand extreme conditions such as shocks, vibrations, moisture and dirt. The battery remains functional even when temporarily submerged, as the intelligent battery management system protects the connection terminals and switches off automatically if necessary to prevent damage.

Battery technology at the highest level: sustainability as part of the concept

The LiFePO4 batteries have been specially developed to meet the high demands placed on batteries today. The modular batteries are particularly durable and efficient, making them the preferred choice for a wide range of applications. Sustainability and environmental friendliness are at the forefront of the development of these modern Lifepo4 batteries. The batteries have a completely modular design, individual battery components such as battery cells, battery management system (BMS) and Bluetooth modules are not glued or soldered, but screwed together. This guarantees simple and cost-effective repair of individual components.

The product pioneers from the extensive range of batteries are primarily LIONTRON Lifepo4 batteries with different capacities, for example the LIONTRON 100ah, the LIONTRON 200 ah and the LIONTRON 150 ah. The batteries' battery management system, which is integrated as standard, can be conveniently monitored via an app using a smartphone or tablet.

The batteries are characterised by their user-friendly and easy-to-maintain design. The housing is not glued and can be opened by simply loosening four screws, even without special tools. This modular design makes it possible to easily replace individual components such as cells, battery management system (BMS) or Bluetooth module without having to replace functioning parts. This saves resources and makes repairs more efficient.

The company offers a generous manufacturer's warranty of seven years on batteries. It has committed to keeping spare parts in stock for at least ten years after the end of production of a battery model. This applies to LIONTRON Lifepo4 batteries with capacities such as the LIONTRON 100ah, the LIONTRON 200 ah and the LIONTRON 150 ah. This guarantees a long service life and high sustainability of the products and enables cost-effective repairs even after the warranty period has expired without any problems.

Another outstanding feature of lithium iron phosphate batteries is their particularly high level of environmental friendliness with regard to the raw materials used. Unlike other lithium technologies, no environmentally harmful heavy metals such as cobalt, nickel or cadmium are used in production. The batteries are also characterised by a particularly high level of recyclability, as all the metals used can be 100% recycled. This minimises the environmental impact and makes the batteries a sustainable choice for modern energy storage solutions.
