The service was very good. The CMap map cannot be updated on an Apple device. Therefore, we asked SVB to do it, as we had purchased the map there and received one free update. Unfortunately, they said it was only possible if we paid. We did so and received a new map from December. Not perfect, but we're not complaining.

C-MAP presents its new chart format, j​ust in time for the 2017 season! All of Europe is available on just 2 chart modules. The new continental format does not include raster charts or any satellite imagery. The maps include high-resolution tidal lines, tides and currents, as well as EasyRouting (automatic route creation). Traveling area: Central and Northern Europe. Card format: microSD / SD.

Aso, everything went awry! At first it was said at the end of April, so I ordered it at the beginning of May. Then I heard nothing for a long time. As the holiday was at the door I asked. Then I got a fairly generous employee on the phone, who told me about the appointment on 30.5. Does not work! Without a solution from him I started to explain to him that I am now without a card because the old one was for update with you. So I suggested that they put the 2017 version on and then send it to me. Then your colleague intervened after consultation. I said then that SVB then yes after my vacation nor the current update of the map on the version 2018 could catch up. But this colleague simply refused! I said then that I have paid the current update, but on further discussions, your colleague did not even more. Since my vacation was but before and I did not have a card by sending me, I had to bite into the sour apple. But at least now I would like to proclaim myself on this path, so you probably do not deal with each other. I expect from you an opinion and a concession on your part. Sehr geehrter Herr Roederer,

die Seekarten bzw. die Karteninhalte werden nicht von uns selber hergestellt. Wir haben bei uns im Haus einige Programmierstationen für die Herstellung der C-Map Kartenmodule. Hierzu benötigen wir jedoch entsprechende Daten (Karteninhalte) von C-Map. Normalerweise liefert C-Map pünklich zum Beginn der Wassersportsaison, in der Regel Mitte bis Ende März neueste Daten auf Wechselplatten oder DVD´s und wir können dann entsprechende Kartenupdates bzw. neue Seekartenmodule programmieren. Im Herbst folgt dann immer noch ein weiteres Update.
Leider hat die Firma C-Map bis heute noch KEINE neuen Karteninhalte für das Jahr 2018 in dem noch Ihnen benötigtem Kartenformat fertigt gestellt und ausgeliefert.
Anfang/Mitte April waren Mitarbeiter von C-Map bei uns im Haus und es wurde uns versprochen bis Mai neueste Daten zu liefern. Dieses hat bis heute noch nicht geklappt und wir werden von Tag zu Tag vertröstet. Daher können wir unseren Kunden nur die Karteninhalte vom Herbst 2017 oder das Warten auf die neue Software anbieten.

Zur Bezahlung und Abrechung:
Im Zuge der Kartenprogrammierung wird von dem Programmiergerät eine Internetverbindung zu C-Map aufgebaut und es erfolgt unmittelbar die Berechnung des jeweiligen Karteninhaltes. Hierbei spielt es keine Rolle wie alt der jeweilige Karteninhalt ist.

Gerne können wir Ihnen die Kontaktdaten der zuständigen Ansprechpartner bei der Firma C-Map für eine Beschwerde mitteilen. Wir sind es mittlerweile leid.

Dear Piotr, the B&G Zeus2 will accept: C-Map MAX-N and MAX-N+. And Navionics Gold, Platinum+ und Navionics+. You will need the SD/MicroSD format. If you have the manuell, you will see this also on page 22. Yours SVB-team.
