Submersible pumps are often portable pumps that are placed under the water that is to be pumped. They are named according to the type of use. Submersible pumps are a specific type of bilge pump. You can buy a 12 or 24 V submersible pump and use it in various applications, such as drinking water systems.

Bilge pumps

Bilge pumps are used to pump out water that has entered the bilge, the deepest part of the boat. This is done through a pressure hose via a through-hull.

Heavy duty bilge pumps or heavy duty pumps are high performance pumps and have a higher flow rate than other bilge pumps. This makes them particularly suitable for use on larger boats, yachts and in commercial shipping.
