Please note that when selecting thru hulls for underwater use, you can only install stainless steel, brass or high-grade plastic through hulls. All thru hulls below the waterline should be backed up by shut-off valves, the hoses must be secured with two stainless steel clamps. Above the waterline, you can use thru hulls made out of simple plastic material.
