The joint that holds the lid is well thought out.
BUT being made of thin plastic is just rubbish.
The force needed to pull the plug out of the socket is enough to tear the lid off. The thing is broken after a few days.
And then the price!!!!
For that price you can get NEMA and Schuko made of stainless steel!!!
