Very noisy

I bought this cooler for in my tent during family vacation. The reason I chose this one is because of the good price and because I trust the brand (I stayed many holidays in a caravan which had a very good working dometic fridge). The reason that I choose this type was the size and the fact that I wanted a cooler that works on the battery of my car as well as on 220V. (I don't want a model with what I have to use an adapter) The cooler comes in a big box (delivery time to NL was 2 days only). It cools itself far below zero in 1 hr. I have really no worries that It wont cool my things. It fits 1.5L coke bottles. But what a noise does the compressor make! (It says 45 dB, but I estimate it has peaks of much more)I hope that we will be able to sleep next to it in our tent.
