Coupling rod rudder outboard I connected my rudder to the Torqueedo with this coupling rod. The electric motor is now turned synchronously with the rudder, and I can finally steer the boat precisely even when moving backwards. The threaded rod can only be screwed into the sleeve a little, in order to shorten the length, the threaded rod must be sawed off accordingly. At the ends you can uncover and remove the coupling head by pulling back the sleeves. The springs push the sleeve outwards during operation so that it cannot come loose unintentionally.

This stainless steel coupling rod features ball joints at both ends to connect the main engine to an auxiliary engine. This allows you to operate the auxiliary motor via the main motor control. The coupling rod is adjustable from 45-60 cm and can be removed in a few seconds thanks to the spring action on the ball joints.
