DF 4A S Outboard Motor / Short Shaft / Manual Start

The 4 HP DF 4A S offers all of the advantages of advanced and fuel-efficient four-stroke technology. Its large displacement and low weight ensure good acceleration values over the entire speed range. A high degree of performance is ensured by a single-cylinder OHV engine with a 138 ccm displacement, the largest displacement in its class. The DF 4A S is equipped with a special fuel filling system, which ensures simple engine starting immediately after coming out of storage. This ingenious system does not require pre-pumping the fuel from the tank into the carburetor.
In addition to the many other highlights regarding improved engine performance, fuel savings and response time, the operation of the tilting system is most impressive thanks to its high level of comfort. With a few twists of the hand and little effort, it is possible to lower the outboard engine from a high tilted position back into the water. The tiller handle is mounted on to the steering console, allowing the operator to sit further forward, thus improving the weight distribution in the boat.

Other features include 180 degree steering, which offers improved maneuverability, even in shallow water. The built-in 1.0 l fuel tank ensures long distance driving and the large carrying handles as well as the unit's low weight facilitate easy transport. Transporting or storing the outboarder is also simplified by the unit's ability to be stored three different ways.

The Suzuki Outboard Motor complies with European EU1 standards and can also be used on Lake Constance.
