The must have with the charger when it's hidden. Don't worry, if you have a temp sensor, the mca-rc1 works properly on the 2nd lan-port.rnit's not explained in the users manual.

The new PerfectCharge IUOU MCA1250 charger from DOMETIC impresses with a particularly fast and gentle charging process thanks to its 5-stage charging technology. It is equally suitable for lead acid, gel, and AGM batteries. The standard LIN bus interface also makes the charger network-compatible and allows for the device to be integrated into existing BUS systems. Its lightweight and extremely compact design allows quick and easy installation, even in confined spaces.

DOMETIC's PerfectCharge MCA1250 has an input range of 110-230 volts and is equipped with three charging outputs, so it can simultaneously charge several batteries. A remote control and a temperature sensor are available separately.

I\'ve got two sets of batteries, so i wanted to put two of them + mca remote control : but there is only one temp control input and one for the rc1. So i put the temp sensor on the service batteries, i\'ll see what happens next. perhaps i bought it usefulness, i don\'t know. but two pièces can\'t be plugged if you have remote control, or is there another possibility?

You\'re right. Like other manufacturers too, WAECO has provided only one sensor-input for temperature monitoring .
Your charger is suitable for charging a starter battery with limited voltage and current. There is no risk of overcharging or gassing.That is why there is no need to place the temp.-sensor at the starter battery.
The other two outputs are designed for charging service batteries with an optimal charging characteristic (adjustable via DIP-switches). This curve is based on room temperature (20-25 ° C).
The sensor detects not only a possible self-heating of the service batteries during charging with high currents. Rather, you should also take into account external heat sources, eg. the mashine. You should place the temp.-sensor on the thermally mostly stressed service battery.

The cold appliance plug can shake loose; a permanent connection would be better. The assembly instructions do not describe the configuration: remote control and temperature sensor. I expected to turn the device on and off with the remote control. Unfortunately that is not possible. Only the fan can be switched to quiet. But this makes the charger even when the higher cooling capacity is no longer required. The status LED has a different display characteristic than the one in the device which is not easy to use. The remote control is more of a remote display and much too expensive.

Sorry, there was also this wrong note in our product description: "When using the MCA-RC1 remote control, the DIP switches on the unit must be adjusted." Only when using an MPC01 battery management system with display and battery sensor (not in our portfolio) must the DIP switches 1 to 3 be switched to "ON" according to the instructions. This does not apply when using the MCA-RC-1 remote control. Instructions point 8.5, says in paragraph "Enabling the control for external devices" that this does not apply to the MCA-RC1: (..., does not apply to MCA-RC1)".
