Product details

The ECHOPILOT FLS 2D (FLS = Forward Looking Sonar) has a large 7" LC colour display and otherwise matches the characteristics of the FLS Gold III. The big difference lies in the colour display, which now shows considerably more data.

The forward-looking echo sounders deliver images in near real time, allowing the user to easily assess the condition of the seabed and avoid collisions in the event of obstacles. The "Interpretation" mode, which indicates the best possible route and displays the seabed conditions in different colours, makes reading even more convenient. In addition to the graphic rendering of a predictive echo depth sounder, the FLS 2D also features a pure depth display with digits the size of the display. Dimensions, total size (WxHxD): 214 x 127 x 59 mm, operating voltage 12/24 Volt.

No NMEA0183 output. A version for connection a secondary device is available on request.

Delivery includes standard transducer with 12 m connection cable. Repeater output.

I replaced it with the previous Silver model.
The dimensions of the display were not the same and we had to make improvements.
We had to change the cable routing because the plugs had become larger.
A big plus is that you can easily replace the encoder without having to uninstall the entire cable because there is a plug connection 2 m after the encoder.
The encoder fits into the old bronze sleeve.
It's a huge improvement over the old motel.

I have an obsolete FLS Gold III with a burned out LCD screen. Can I simply swap my old unit with the FLS 2D using my existing Gold lll cables and transducer?
