For decades we have been riding a "Le Gascogne" on our ship, which runs every year from March to October with constantly changing crews. The stove is therefore intensively used and we are very satisfied with it. But unfortunately he has no eternal life and had to be replaced after a few years.

Not terrible!

Use in navigation for 4 years. It fits right in the slot and looks great. It is very very regularly maintained. From the start of its use, the lower stainless steel plate (removable) twisted under the effect of the heat and the welding points which guide it in the rail have failed. Pb settled under warranty after 6 months of waiting and reminders. After 4 years the corrosion is no longer controllable inside the oven, the exterior remains stylish but the articulation points of the port have given way due to accelerated corrosion between the low-end sheet metal and stainless steel screws. fixing (galvanic ??). This problem is very obvious because absolutely similar on the left and on the right and circumscribed at this place at this level. Conclusion After painstaking sales, anticorrosion non piezo system worthy of a child's toy. hinge, unworthy door retainer. To avoid.

The stove was delivered defective; Either the heat element of the left, large gas flame or the rotary knob was broken. \ R \ nAfter switching on, the flame extinguished basically. The stove was on 06.05.2015; The company SVB wants to carry out the Rep. Immediately. Other very appealing.

Suspension is not in the center of gravity axis!

Suspension is not in the center of gravity axis. Stove hangs behind! Width is too large. Can not exchange with Eno stove 2001. Many adjustments. Customs + fees in the CH 220.- francs. Only cash on delivery 40.- !! Why not by invoice as with other deliveries? Same stove here in France much cheaper!

Allure (LE GASCOGNE) Gas Stove / 2 burners

Not recommended

We ordered the stove a few months ago and have been able to test it out a number of times in the meantime. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The main problem of this cooker is the oven - the baking tray warps so much at a temperature of 180 degrees that you can only get it out of the rail with the use of force. If you've made it and haven't burned yourself fiddling with it, you'll be amazed that the sheet metal bends upwards by a whole 2 cm at each end. Only after cooling down does the metal return to its original shape. As a well-known manufacturer of gas stoves, how can you produce such cheap crap? A thicker, thermally relaxed sheet metal should be used and not such a cheap 1mm sheet metal!
Another drawback is the heat distribution. It is hardly possible to bake a pizza in it without having to turn the pizza over, otherwise the base will quickly burn on one side.
We had previously used a 30-year-old ENO and have to say that it worked flawlessly in these respects.

Do we need any other parts besides this product to install? Which GOK gas hose with union nut and copper tubing? We have a working system onboard, we're placing a 40yo Optimus stove. Just want to make sure we order everything necessary as it's a faraway place.
