The SPIRIT 1.0 EVO electric outboard from ePropulsion delivers the equivalent to approx. 3 HP, making it perfect for dinghies, RIBs and sailboats up to 1.5 tons. It features tiller control and integrated recuperation, whereby the battery is recharged by the motor. Extremely low-maintenance.

Integrated recuperation technology
The EVO series features an integrated recuperation feature (energy recovery). This innovative technology means the outboard recharges the battery under sail. At a speed of 3-10 kn, the power regeneration system can recharge the battery. Above 10 knots, the motor switches to protection mode and charging power does not increase further.
* Recuperation data is based on real tests with the anti-ventilation plate installed.
Light and space-saving
The electric motor is easy to dismantle and can be easily stowed away. With a low total weight of only 20 kg, it's extremely portable. Specially designed carry bags are available separately and make transportation even easier. Thanks to plug-and-play, it couldn't be simpler to install and vice-versa.

Powerful battery
The integrated battery has an output of 1276 Wh and provides 50% more runtime at top speeds than comparable motors. Reach up to 35 km at lower speeds. The battery is also waterproof and floatable, so there's no need to worry if it falls into the water. Thanks to 48 V nominal voltage, the Spirit series can also be operated with external batteries. Matching chargers and solar modules are available separately. The display on the motor shows the charge level, remaining range and operating voltage in real time.

Is tiller included in delivery of Epropulsion 1 Evo?
Hello Ondrey, this Electric Outboard Motor will be delivered as shown above, including the tiller for steering. Yours SVB-team.
I had the same question. The tiller was not included in the box with my Prop shaft or the box with my battery. I thought it was odd. My friend ordered an ePropulsion engine with a tiller from you and the tiller was attached to the prop shaft
Is it possible to charge this Epropulsion Spirit 1 Evo by 12V car charger? If yes, where to buy it?
Hello Ondrej, the charger for the batterie on top of the Motor is for the normal home power gride. If you buy a separat 48Volt batterie for the Motor, there is also a DC-DC converter to load the extern 48Volt Batterie from a 12Volt batterie. All components for this engine are available by inquiry. Yours SVB-team
Thank you, so the battery that is standardly supplied as part of this motor cannot be recharged with a 12V charger? What is the difference between the standard battery that is supplied and the separate 48V battery that can be recharged with a 12v charger? In the product description you mention a standard 48V battery, so I don't understand why it would be necessary to buy a separate battery for recharging with a 12V charger.
How can i set up to show information about speed of boat on the tiller displey, there are seen info about watts, running time and percentage of batterie, but i cannot find info about speed. Is it needed some special setup?
Hi Ondrej, actually the Spirit doesn't have a GPS module inside so it cannot show the speed of your boat, I'm afraid. Only the Navy models can do that.
