Fast zehn Jahre hat er treue Dienste geleistet und sich dann, während ich nicht an Bord war, auf spektakuläre Weise verabschiedet: total verkohlt, vorne und oben am Kabel alles Mögliche herausgequollen, schwarze Brühe herausgetropft und in der Bilge verspritzt und es stinkt zum Gotterbarmen nach verkohlter Elektronik, selbst nach einigen Tagen noch. Überspannungen kann man ausschließen, da sonst keine Schäden und Boot nicht am Landstrom, selbst die Pumpe und die Testschaltung, die direkt dran hingen, sind noch heil. Habe jetzt einen konventionellen Schwimmerschalter eingebaut. W.S.

The rating refers to the 10A version: When first used after about 20 minutes of running time, the switch was over. There is a clacking inside. Switches only positional but no longer fluid dependent. As 10A version he was allowed to switch an 8A pump. Seems to have been too much for in.
