A well-designed glove for cold days The inner surface offers excellent grip. The size runs a bit small in my opinion. I usually wear a size 9 in gloves, which apparently corresponds to an XL in Gill gloves. I wear a size L in Musto gloves.

The flexible outer softshell layer ensures high wearing comfort, even during long hours at the helm. The multi-layer design consists of a waterproof and breathable insert, warm Thinsulate insulation that effectively retains heat even when wet, and a palm reinforced with Dura-Grip™ that provides reliable grip in both dry and wet conditions. Pre-shaped fingers guarantee an active fit, while a webbing cuff and trimming cord ensure optimal fit and additional protection. All this gives the glove the perfect balance of grip, durability, and comfort – ideal for demanding tasks on the water.

One size too small! Proven Good Gill Processing!
I ordered the gloves as a precaution for the cool and wet season. The delivery was quick and the gloves are well made as usual. Unfortunately, the fit was not optimal. Although ordered the correct size according to the size chart (23cm L), the gloves are uncomfortably tight and pinch on both the right and left. This is probably due to the fact that the gloves are thicker and lined. I'm deducting a star because the size isn't the best.

I later ordered the size XL and it fits my hands perfectly. Ergo The gloves are great, but you should order one size larger if necessary. The size that didn't fit me went back to SVB without any problems.
