Note on the durability of gas hoses
The production date and standard are printed on the gas hose. Refer to the date on the label for the respective lifespan.
Why my GLP gas hose is 20 bar , and the one supplied at SVB is only 10 ?, should be ok?
The gaspressure in the hose is only 30 or 50 mbar, so you can sleep well with your 10 bar hose.
I've remove old Gas pipe from Bavaria (2005), It looks identical to products 30083/30084 - "Union Nut plus Cutting Ring", but it's got a right thread at both ends. Was there a change from "Right" thread to "Left" thread at some point? Thanks.
Hello David, a gas throw is always left turning. The clockwise (turn right), are the cutting rings. With cutting rings, you are assembled/cut directly on gas pipes. Sometimes the cutting rings aren´t fell down by a uninstallation, you are able to pull them off with a water pump pliers. So you can see only the gas pipe. Your SVB-team.
Hi Sven, thank you for answering!! I'm more bewildered than ever now. Best regards David

Hi, the union nut says it is 1/4 inch. Do you know what type of 1/4 inch thread it is? Is it NPT, ACME, UTS? I need to check this is compatible with the rest of my system! Thanks for any help!
