The element comes with two gaskets nowadays. The heating element gasket and an additional o-ring. Do I install both or only one of the two? What is the o-ring for? Thank you.

We are having to change our heating element a lot - 4 times since September, in a winter berth, in a hard water marina in Italy. Never had to do it before. We have now got another and also changed the thermostat. Better to reduce from 1200w to 800w and any other suggestions please, as it is constantly blowing the electrics? Last one lasted 2 weeks. It is a Quick boiler.

I have a quick calorifier B3 25l can you recommend spares for - thermostat, heating element , anode - thank you
My heating element stopped working after 20 months which was a surprise until I spoke with a few other buddies whose water heaters packed up between 12 months and thirty months. In my case the anode was used up after 15 months and the case of the element had eroded. So I am going to inspect my heating element at 12 months and replace the anode. I have bought a 55mm box spanner to remove the element but, the tips of a pipe wrench at 90 degrees would do. My spares are an anode, element and thermostat all bought from SVB.
Hi, Is this element fitting for Quick Boiler model: bx10012s? Thank you
